best dressed according to me; Grammys edition

Ahhh!! The Grammys -inserts air bubble filled with old memories- it used to be my all time favourite American awards show to watch, that is until it became what it didn't used to be. Well, I no longer watch the awards itself, but I keep up with the red carpet looks because its the only other form of sport I partake in, asides from actually working out at the gym.

This was the best look to walk down that red carpet, PERIOD! Lady Gaga wearing Giorgio Armani Prive, styled by Sandra Amador and Tom Eerebout.

Next is Snoh Aalegra in a custom Atelier Versace gown, styled by Shaojun Chen . ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Check out her instagram page for the full look.

Number 3 on the list is Doja Cat also wearing Versace, dress and heels, accessorised with a glass bag by Heven designed by Coperni, styled by Brett Alan Nelson.

For number 4, it’s Tiffany Haddish in a custom Prada gown, styled by Wayman and Micah. Ms Tiffany Haddish has really upped her game lately, she probably got a new stylist, love that for her.

Coming in very hot in number 5 is the all time rock icon, Lenny Kravitz who wore a head to toe custom collaboration with Church Boutique. OMG I am obsessed with this whole look, it is so him and very sexy.

Number 6 on the list is dame Chrissy Teigen in Nicole + Felicia Couture Gown, styled by Alana Van Deraa. She definitely brought that red carpet flamboyance with this gown, because someone really had to do it.

Next on my list is Paris Hilton wearing Atelier Zuhra styled by Joey Thao assisted by Supbyron & Styledbysum. I don’t know why she was there, but this gown was definitely something to show up and show out in!

For number 8, it’s Lil Nas X in Balmain, styled by Hodo Musa. This was a baroque-inspired dress that was adapted into a jacket, pants and platform shoes. I just love the whole concept and drama of the look, but the fitting on the legs should have been as flare as the sketch because it looks a bit cuffed and that gives the look an ick.

At number 9, Jekalyn Carr, styled by J. Bolin. I don’t know who she is but she brought a certain glamorous vibe with this dress,

Next up is Dua Lipa in Versace, styled by Lorenzo Posocco.

For number 11, I have a guy named Camper who wore a menswear ensemble designed by Lauren Laflare. The colour caught my eye, then the little pocket detail, plus this is very different from the usual tux every man seems to run to for comfort.

At number 12, Giveon in custom Chanel, styled by Yashua Simmons. Love that they went with this ensemble, something different, but I do wish it was styled buttoned-up.

I had to add a Dior look to my list, and this was the only Dior look on the red carpet, so here we have Rachel Zegler in custom Dior Haute Couture styled by Sarah Slutsky. This dress did not fail at all, especially the back of the dress.

Contrary to a lot of fashion people I follow on instagram, I actually like this look. At number 14 is Halsey in Pressiat skirt and corset, Stuart Weitzman heels, and a vintage Pierre Cardin hat, styled by Law Roach. This look definitely gives me a 1920’s glamour vibe.

And finally, Saweetie in Maison Valentino, styled by Amanda Murray and Timothy Luke.

Now I’ve got this one out of my system, I think I should do one for looks I didn’t like, maybe. Anyways till next time✌🏽.
