Welcome to the first post of “INSTEAD OF THIS, GET THIS!” Even though this totally goes against the whole point of fashion, I am a sucker for finding similar designs of pieces from luxury brands from cheaper, but still respectable brands. That is when i’m not thrifting. So I’ve come across a few similar designs of some pieces that are “IN” right now, and I have come to share them with you.

I want these Balenciaga le cagole boots one day, but for now getting these Nii HAi boots would be more reasonable. It is just as stylish and they also come in a cream colour.

This second one is my favourite because I definitely have no intention on getting the supposedly original piece. So instead of getting the Bottega puddle boots, get these Ugg Tasman rain boots. Not because it’s less pricy, but because the Tasmans have a better quality.

Platform sandals are a must have for me this summer, so instead of buying the expensive ones from our dear luxury brands, I will be settling for these cute ones from Call it Spring

I found this cute asymmetric top from Vivienne Westwood, but it recently sold out just as I was about to get it, after saving for it. Luckily for me, and you, Zara just released their summer collection and I found a replica of the top while going through the collection, YAY ME!

Another staple that should be in our closets this summer, maxi cargo skirts. You know what, it doesn’t matter the size, because i’m starting to see the vision of an outfit with other sizes. So instead of getting some “off-the-runway” cargo skirts, get these ones I just found on Etsy.
